GUIDES
Can my child do two sports at once?
Plenty of children here do two, and the limit is usually the calendar rather than the child. Because sports run on two different day patterns, some pairs fit together neatly and some collide.

THE DETAIL
Saturday, Monday and Wednesday: football, basketball, karate, roller skating, badminton. Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday: gymnastics, taekwondo, volleyball and the girls' football group. One from each list never clashes.
Football with gymnastics is the most useful combination we see — the gymnastics makes the football better. Karate with volleyball, or basketball with taekwondo, also sit on opposite days.
Each is priced on its own, so two sports is the two monthly figures added together. Badminton and roller skating are the cheapest at 400 and 450; the eight-session package on each keeps it manageable.
Two sports at eight sessions a month each is four sessions a week, which is a lot for a six-year-old and normal for a twelve-year-old. If in doubt, start with one and add the second next term.
